Giving Back to Community

Through our commitment to allocating at least 1% of our annual gross profit to charitable causes, we continued investing in communities locally and in coffee-growing regions around the world.

In 2025, with your support, we contributed:

🚲 $16,810 donated through Full Cycle Coffee to nonprofits making the world better through bicycles and outdoor access

🤝 $2,356 donated from sales of Next Generation Roast, along with support from New Seasons Market, benefiting the nonprofit De la Gente, which supports the next generation of coffee farmers in Antigua, Guatemala

🎄 $1,220 donated from holiday sales of Festa

🌱 $1,715 funded from Delícia do Brasil to Kiva.org microloans, supporting coffee-producing communities

🖤 $3,383 donated for Juneteenth to Black United Fund of Oregon (BUF) and Central City Concern

As part of our Net Zero by 2030 pledge, we continue investing in emissions-reduction initiatives across our roastery and operations.

♻️ 234,203 lbs of CO₂e saved through emissions reductions enabled by our Loring Roasters

🚚 An additional estimated 14,500 lbs of CO₂e saved through our use of all-electric delivery vehicles

Zero-Emissions Transportation

All-Electric Delivery

In Spring 2022, Nossa Familia launched an all-electric, zero-emissions delivery fleet, fully charged using the 100% renewable electricity we purchase for our roastery.

Our EV delivery fleet saves approximately:

650 gallons of diesel per year
Reducing emissions by 6.58 metric tons of CO₂ annually

Reducing Single-Use Waste

We continue encouraging reusable habits across our cafés.

In 2025:

🥤 64,964 single-use cups were saved from landfills

We support reuse through several initiatives:

• A $0.25 discount for customers who bring their own cup
• A $0.25 to-go cup charge to nudge customers toward reusable options
• Encouraging guests to “stop and stay” and enjoy drinks in reusable café ware
• A shared reusable container program with Okapi
• Our Little Free Cup Library — donated reusable cups available for customers to borrow and return

Renewable Energy

⚡ 75,327 kilowatt hours powered by 100% renewable energy, covering 100% of electricity use at our roastery.
