On September 16, p:ear is opening a walk-up, retail coffee window through its barista school, in partnership with Nossa Familia Coffee. P:ear is a nonprofit organization based in Portland, OR, which mentors over 750 homeless and transitional youth, helping them build positive relationships & personal worth and to create more meaningful and healthier lives.

Our new seasonal drink in the Nossa Espresso Bar is a cascara iced tea, made from the dried husks of coffee cherries. The cascara is brewed in a French press and then poured over ice with a touch of pure cane sugar, with tasting notes of cherry, honey and hibiscus. It’s refreshing, smooth and totally different.
