Meet Timoteo Minas
San Miguel Escobar Cooperative
The San Miguel Escobar Co-op (in Spanish, Café Artesanal San Miguel Entre Volcanes de Antigua) is a 30-member community of smallholder coffee farmers near Antigua, Guatemala. Situated at the base of Volcán Agua, San Miguel Escobar is located in a scenic, vibrant valley with views of other neighboring volcanoes Fuego and Acatenango. The town is home to many coffee farmers, whom you can see on a typical day heading up the slopes of the volcano through the communal paths to tend to their fields of coffee or other crops.
Guatemala - Timoteo Minas
Excellent coffee. Brewed my first with a French Press. Next up will be pour over.
The short video on your website was incredible. Nossa Familia’s support of Guatemalan coffee growers is outstanding!
So happy to have found Timoteo’s coffee on this site. I worked with him with the de la gente organization when I was in college. I am so happy to be able to support him and his delicious coffee. This is the best coffee I have tasted!
Great flavors found myself doubling the brew time in my press to make it little stronger
Guatemala - Timoteo Minas is a good strong coffee, but bit creamy for me.
